Dubai IT Job Title: Oracle DBA
Install Oracle software (DB and e-Business including patches) on servers;
Make changes to database components (e.g. scripts, rules, triggers) in a controlled environment & following change/configuration management processes;
Provide instructions and advice on database related issues;
Monitor and optimise the database management system software environment
Assist with trouble-shooting as required.
Arrange and monitor back-ups and restores of individual environments as required by the Environments Manager.
Create detailed installation and build scripts as required.
Liaise with other teams as required to ensure project milestones are met.
